The Jazz Cafe in London has been a prominent venue for live jazz and related music genres since its establishment in 1990. Located in Camden Town, it initially began as a response to limited opportunities for jazz musicians in the city at the time, founded by musician Gene Calderon and promoter Jon Dryden. The venue is known for its intimate setting – holding approximately 350 people – and its commitment to showcasing both established international artists and emerging talent. Over the years, The Jazz Cafe has hosted performances by numerous significant figures in jazz, soul, funk, blues and world music, becoming a key part of London's cultural landscape.
