Gustavo Dudamel will conduct a concert at the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid, Spain on July 8, 2026. The Auditorio Nacional de Música, inaugurated in 1992, is a major concert hall in Madrid designed by Rafael Moneo. It was built as part of the city’s preparations to become European Capital of Culture that year. The hall’s architecture is notable for its modern aesthetic incorporating brick and glass elements, intended to integrate with the surrounding urban landscape. It primarily hosts symphonic music performances but also accommodates other genres including ballet, opera, and chamber music. The main hall has a capacity of approximately 2,305 seats and is recognized for its excellent acoustics which were carefully considered during its design phase.
