Grace Kelly will perform at the SFJAZZ Center in San Francisco on September 16, 2026. Kelly is an American jazz saxophonist and composer known for her distinctive alto saxophone sound and compositions blending post-bop jazz with elements of R&B, hip-hop, and soul. Her work frequently features complex harmonies, intricate arrangements, and a strong emphasis on groove. She gained prominence after winning the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Saxophone Competition in 2015, a prestigious award recognizing emerging jazz talent.
The SFJAZZ Center, which opened in 2013, is a leading jazz performance venue and center for jazz education. Located in the Hayes Valley neighborhood of San Francisco, it’s dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and celebration of jazz music. The Center houses the Robert N. Miner Auditorium, an 800-seat performance hall renowned for its acoustics, as well as smaller performance spaces and rehearsal rooms. SFJAZZ itself is a non-profit organization founded in 1972 that produces numerous concerts and educational programs throughout the year. The building was designed by Mark Cavagnero Associates and incorporates sustainable design principles.
