Gov’t Mule is scheduled to perform at The BayCare Sound in Clearwater, Florida on October 4, 2026. The band is known for its blend of rock, blues, and Southern rock influences, often characterized by extended improvisational jams and Warren Haynes’ distinctive guitar work and vocals. Formed in 1994, Gov’t Mule initially began as a side project for Haynes (of The Allman Brothers Band) and bassist Allen Woody, evolving into a full-time touring and recording act following Woody's passing in 2000. The current lineup includes Haynes, Matt Abts on drums, Danny Louis on keyboards and Jorgen Carlsson on bass.

The BayCare Sound (formerly known as Coachman Park) underwent a $92 million renovation completed in 2023. This modernization transformed the waterfront park into a dedicated outdoor concert venue with a capacity of approximately 4,000 attendees. Situated in downtown Clearwater along the Intracoastal Waterway, the venue aims to attract nationally recognized musical acts and contribute to the city’s cultural offerings. It features enhanced sound and lighting systems alongside improved accessibility and amenities for concertgoers.
