Ghost-Note is a dynamic percussion-driven musical project founded by Grammy-winning drummers Robert “Sput” Searight and Nate Werth, both renowned for their work with the influential jazz-funk collective Snarky Puppy. Emerging in 2014, Ghost-Note blends elements of jazz, funk, hip-hop, and Afrobeat to create a vibrant, rhythm-centric sound that pushes genre boundaries. Their music is characterized by intricate grooves, polyrhythms, and an infectious energy that highlights the duo’s virtuosic drumming skills alongside a rotating cast of talented collaborators.

Since their debut album *Fortified* (2015), Ghost-Note has garnered critical acclaim for revitalizing contemporary funk and jazz fusion with fresh creativity. Their follow-up albums, including *Swagism* (2018) and *Welcome to the Playground* (2021), further showcase their evolution toward a more expansive sonic palette featuring brass sections, electronic textures, and socially conscious themes.
