Galactic is scheduled to perform at the Rochester International Jazz Festival in 2026, on June 25th, in Rochester, New York. The band is known for its distinctive blend of funk, jazz, rock, hip-hop, and New Orleans rhythms. Formed in New Orleans in 1995, Galactic has built a reputation for energetic live performances and instrumental prowess, often incorporating improvisation within their tightly arranged compositions. Their sound features prominent contributions from Stanton Moore’s drumming and Ben Ellman’s saxophone work.

The Rochester International Jazz Festival is an annual ten-day event held each June in the city of Rochester, New York.
