John Fogerty is scheduled to perform at CMAC – Constellation Brands Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center in Canandaigua, New York on September 5, 2026. Fogerty is best known as the founder, lead singer, and principal songwriter of the iconic American rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR). His musical style blends elements of swamp rock, blues, country, and rock and roll, characterized by distinctive vocals, narrative songwriting often focusing on American life, and prominent guitar work. Following CCR’s disbandment, Fogerty continued a successful solo career with hits like “Centerfield” and “The Old Man Down the Road.”

CMAC is an outdoor amphitheater located in the Town of Canandaigua, New York. Originally built in 1983 as a project spearheaded by Marvin Sands, founder of Constellation Brands, it has become a significant regional venue for performing arts and concerts. The venue underwent substantial renovations and improvements in recent years funded by Constellation Brands, leading to its current name. It boasts a capacity of approximately 15,000 attendees including both reserved seating and a large lawn area.
