Fay Claassen will perform at Singer Laren in Laren, Netherlands on December 12, 2026. Claassen is a Dutch jazz vocalist known for her interpretations of the Great American Songbook, alongside original compositions. Her style blends traditional jazz sensibilities with a contemporary approach, often incorporating elements of bossa nova and Latin jazz. She is recognized for her clear vocal tone and improvisational skills, frequently collaborating with renowned jazz musicians.

Singer Laren is a cultural center housed within the former residence of art collector William Singer and his wife Anna Singer. Originally built in 1931, the building served as a private home showcasing their extensive collection of modern art. Following Anna Singer’s death in 1968, the house and its contents were bequeathed to the municipality of Laren with the stipulation it be used for cultural purposes.

Opened to the public as a museum in 1986, it underwent significant renovation and expansion in 2003-2005 to incorporate a concert hall designed specifically for chamber music and intimate performances.
