Ezra Collective is a British quintet known for their dynamic and innovative approach to jazz. Their music blends elements of jazz improvisation with influences from Afrobeat, grime, and hip-hop, creating a sound often described as energetic and forward-thinking. Formed in 2015, the group has gained international recognition for their live performances and critically acclaimed albums, including “You Can’t Steal My Joy” which won the Mercury Prize in 2023. The band comprises Femi Koleoso (drums), Joe Armon-Jones (keys), James Darcey (bass), Nubya Garcia (tenor saxophone) and TJ Koleoso (trumpet).

Bimbo’s 365 Club is a historic music venue located in North Beach, San Francisco. Originally opened as a nightclub in 1936, it has hosted a diverse range of performers throughout its history, spanning jazz, rock, blues, and more. The club is known for its intimate setting and distinctive atmosphere; maintaining much of its original art deco interior. Over the decades it has undergone periods of closure and revival, becoming a significant part of San Francisco’s cultural landscape.
