Eric Ericson Chamber Choir will perform at Konserthuset Stockholm on October 17, 2026. The choir is internationally renowned for its precise intonation, refined blend, and expressive interpretations of choral music, spanning from the Renaissance to contemporary compositions. A significant portion of their repertoire focuses on Swedish choral tradition, alongside works by composers such as Palestrina, Bach, and Britten. They are known for a distinctive, clear sound often described as ‘Nordic’ in its aesthetic – transparent and emotionally direct.

Konserthuset Stockholm opened in 1926 and is considered Sweden’s national concert hall. Designed by Ivar Tengbom, the building is notable for its acoustics, largely due to the work of architect Klas Anshelm who consulted with leading acousticians of the time. The hall’s interior features artwork by Swedish artists including Adam Elmgren and Einar Jonsson. It serves as the primary venue for the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra and hosts a wide range of musical performances throughout the year. The building underwent a major renovation completed in 2022 to modernize facilities while preserving its original architectural character and acoustic qualities. It is located on Hötorget square in central Stockholm.
