Elephant9 will perform at the National Jazz Scene (Nasjonal Jazzscene) in Oslo, Norway on April 25, 2027. Elephant9 is a Norwegian instrumental band known for its blend of jazz fusion, progressive rock, and psychedelic elements. Their music frequently features extended improvisations, heavy grooves, and a distinctive organ-driven sound spearheaded by Marius Røedland. The band typically comprises Røedland on Hammond organ, Ståle Storløkken on synthesizers and effects, Truls Mønster on guitar, and Torstein Wickmann on drums. They have released several critically acclaimed albums and are recognized for their energetic live performances.

The National Jazz Scene is Norway’s national venue for jazz and improvised music. Officially opened in 2008, it consists of two concert halls – Victoria Nasjonal Jazzscene with a capacity of around 200 and Blå which hosts a wider range of musical styles but remains strongly associated with jazz. Located in the Vulkan area of Oslo, the venue aims to promote both established and emerging artists within the genre, as well as fostering international collaborations.
