The Dutch Swing College Band is scheduled to perform at Laeiszhalle’s Großer Saal in Hamburg, Germany on March 20, 2027. The band is renowned for its authentic recreation of traditional American swing and Dixieland jazz from the 1920s through the 1940s. Formed in 1945, they maintain a commitment to the original arrangements and instrumentation of that era, featuring clarinet, trombone, trumpet, banjo, piano, double bass and drums. Their repertoire includes compositions by artists such as Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington and Jelly Roll Morton alongside original pieces in a similar style.

Laeiszhalle (Großer Saal) is Hamburg’s primary concert hall and one of Germany’s most prestigious musical venues. Originally opened in 1908, it underwent extensive renovations completed in 2017, preserving its historical architectural features while modernizing its acoustics and technical capabilities. The Großer Saal is particularly noted for its excellent sound quality and elegant design inspired by the Italian Renaissance.
