Dr. Dog is scheduled to perform at Avl Fest 2026 in Asheville, North Carolina on August 6, 2026. Formed in Philadelphia in 1999, Dr. Dog gained a dedicated following through extensive touring and self-released albums before signing with Park the Van Records and later Anti-Records. They announced an indefinite hiatus in 2018 but have since reunited for select performances.

Avl Fest (Asheville Festival) is an annual multi-day music festival held in various venues throughout downtown Asheville.
