Django Festival Allstars presents a vibrant continuation of the Romani jazz tradition popularized by guitarist Django Reinhardt. The ensemble performs primarily in the *jazz manouche* style – characterized by virtuosic guitar work, driving rhythms, and a distinctly European sensibility. Their repertoire draws heavily from Reinhardt’s compositions alongside original pieces and standard jazz tunes reinterpreted through this unique lens. The group features leading musicians dedicated to preserving and evolving this influential style.

The performance is scheduled to take place at the SFJAZZ Center in San Francisco on May 10, 2027. The SFJAZZ Center, which opened in 2013, is a prominent performing arts venue dedicated to jazz music. It is located in the Hayes Valley neighborhood and houses multiple performance spaces, including the Robert N. Miner Auditorium (800 seats) and the Joe Henderson Lab (100 seats), offering diverse acoustic experiences.
