Rock Concerts in Cologne

Experience Dirty Three live on November 6th

Dirty Three will perform at Gebaeude 9 in Cologne, Germany on November 6, 2026. The Australian instrumental band is known for its distinctive post-rock sound, characterized by dynamic shifts between quiet, melodic passages and intense, often dissonant crescendos. Their music frequently incorporates elements of jazz, classical, and ambient music, featuring violin prominently alongside guitar and drums. Formed in Melbourne in 1992, the group – comprised of Mick Turner, Warren Ellis, and Jim White – has released a series of critically acclaimed albums and toured extensively internationally.

Gebaeude 9 is a cultural center located on the site of the former Ehrenfeld locomotive shed in Cologne. Established in 1994, it functions as a venue for diverse artistic disciplines including concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions and workshops. The space maintains a deliberately raw and industrial aesthetic reflecting its history as a railway repair facility. It’s recognized for hosting both established and emerging artists across genres with an emphasis on experimental and independent music and art. The venue’s capacity is approximately 500 people standing. It operates as a non-profit organization supported by public funding and private donations.
