DIIV, the American rock band formed in Brooklyn, New York in 2011, will be performing at Yogibo Meta Valley in Osaka, Japan on July 9th, 2026. The band’s music is generally categorized as shoegaze revival, drawing influence from bands like My Bloody Valentine and Ride. Their sound features layered, atmospheric guitars, reverb-drenched vocals, and a dream-pop sensibility often incorporating elements of post-punk and alternative rock. DIIV has released three studio albums to date: *Oshin* (2012), *Is the Is Are* (2016), and *Deceiver* (2019).

Yogibo Meta Valley is a unique entertainment complex located in Expo City, Osaka. Opened in December 2023, it’s built around the concept of “spatial media” and utilizes large-scale LED screens covering walls and floors to create immersive environments. The facility is operated by KDDI Corporation and aims to blend physical spaces with digital content. It features a main hall capable of displaying visuals across its entire surface area – effectively creating a room-scale virtual reality experience without headsets.
