Dianne Reeves is scheduled to perform at Lackawanna Station in Montclair, New Jersey on August 15, 2026. Reeves is a highly acclaimed jazz vocalist known for her versatile style, encompassing elements of straight-ahead jazz, R&B, and Latin influences. Her performances frequently showcase improvisational skill, dynamic vocal range, and a sophisticated approach to interpretation across a broad repertoire. She has received five Grammy Awards and is a designated Jazz Master by the National Endowment for the Arts.

Lackawanna Station, originally opened in 1913 by the Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad, served as a major transportation hub connecting Montclair with New York City and other destinations. Designed in the Beaux-Arts style by architect Fellheimer & Wagner (also known for Grand Central Terminal’s design influence), it represents an important example of early 20th-century railway architecture. After passenger service ceased in 1985, the building fell into disrepair before undergoing extensive renovations.

Currently, Lackawanna Station functions as a mixed-use space hosting events alongside retail and office tenants.
