The band has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, gaining recognition for their dynamic live shows and Sowers’ piano playing.

The Dakota Jazz Club, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is a prominent venue dedicated to showcasing both established and emerging jazz artists. Opened in 1985 by Larry Englund, it initially operated as a restaurant with occasional music performances. It quickly evolved into a dedicated music club known for its intimate setting and high-quality sound system. Over the years, the Dakota has hosted numerous renowned musicians across various jazz subgenres and beyond – including Prince, Bonnie Raitt, and Robert Plant – becoming a significant cultural landmark in the city's music scene. The venue underwent an expansion in 2006 which increased its capacity while maintaining its focus on acoustic excellence and artist visibility. It continues to operate as a non-profit organization committed to supporting live music.
