The Wharf, located in Washington, D.C., is a recently developed waterfront district along the Southwest Waterfront. Officially opening in October 2017, it represents a significant revitalization project for the area. Prior to redevelopment, the Southwest Waterfront was largely industrial and underutilized. The Wharf now features a mix of restaurants, shops, residential buildings, hotels, and entertainment venues spread across multiple piers and promenades. It’s designed as a pedestrian-friendly public space intended to draw both residents and tourists with its accessible waterfront views and varied offerings. The venue hosting Perez's concert is situated within this mixed-use development offering both indoor and outdoor performance spaces.
