The SFJAZZ Center, which opened in 2013, is a leading jazz performance venue and education center. Located in the Hayes Valley neighborhood of San Francisco, it’s dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and celebration of jazz music. The Center houses two primary performance spaces: the Robert N. Miner Auditorium, seating approximately 400 people, and the Joe Henderson Lab, a more intimate 120-seat venue. SFJAZZ itself is a non-profit organization founded in 1972 that presents hundreds of performances annually alongside educational programs aimed at fostering appreciation for jazz across all ages.
