Circuit des Yeux, the musical project of Haley Fohr, will perform at Wintercircus in Ghent, Belgium on October 29, 2026. Fohr’s music is often described as experimental rock and avant-garde folk, characterized by her distinctive, powerfully resonant contralto vocals and explorations of themes relating to isolation, mythology, and the American landscape. Her compositions frequently incorporate elements of drone, jazz, and baroque pop, resulting in a sound that is both haunting and richly textured. Circuit des Yeux has released several critically acclaimed albums including *In Plain Language* (2015) and *~io* (2017).

Wintercircus is a concert venue located in a former circus building in Ghent. Originally constructed in 1928 as Circus Plancke, it operated as a traditional circus until the 1980s. The building was subsequently repurposed as a cultural space and officially became Wintercircus in 2013. It's known for its intimate atmosphere and diverse programming which includes concerts spanning genres like indie rock, post-punk, electronic music and experimental sounds. The venue retains much of its original circus architecture contributing to its unique aesthetic appeal.
