Circuit des Yeux, the musical project of Haley Fohr, will perform at Knockdown Center in New York City on June 18, 2026. Fohr’s music is often described as experimental and draws from diverse influences including jazz, baroque pop, and avant-garde composition. Characterized by her distinctive, powerfully resonant contralto vocals and often incorporating elements of drone and minimalist arrangements, her work frequently explores themes of isolation, longing, and the human condition. She has released several critically acclaimed albums, including *In Plain Language* (2015) and *…a mere descent* (2022).

Knockdown Center is a multi-disciplinary arts venue located in Maspeth, Queens. Originally constructed in 1920 as a metal shop, it was repurposed as an event space in 2011. The building retains much of its industrial aesthetic, featuring high ceilings and a large open floor plan. It has become known for hosting a wide range of performances – encompassing music (spanning genres like experimental electronic to rock), dance, visual art installations and community events.
