The hall’s architecture is notable for its Victorian design and elaborate ornamentation, including a stunning stained-glass dome. Throughout its history it has hosted a diverse range of performances including opera, vaudeville, and concerts by prominent musicians. It underwent a major restoration completed in 1995 which preserved many of its original features while upgrading facilities for modern performances. The hall is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
