Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox will perform at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall in Troy, New York on October 29, 2026. The ensemble is known for reimagining popular modern songs in vintage styles, primarily those of the 1920s-1950s. Their arrangements often feature jazz, ragtime, swing, and doo-wop influences applied to contemporary pop, rock, and hip-hop hits. The group gained prominence through YouTube, initially launching in 2011 with Bradlee arranging and performing covers from his apartment.
The Troy Savings Bank Music Hall itself holds historical significance. Originally constructed in 1875 as the headquarters for the Troy Savings Bank, it was designed by local architect George Teeple. The building's concert hall was intended to provide cultural enrichment for the community and quickly became a respected venue for touring performances. Notable for its exceptional acoustics – frequently attributed to its unique “cathedral ceiling” design – it has hosted a diverse range of artists throughout its history including Theodore Roosevelt, Mark Twain and more recently, contemporary musicians across multiple genres.
