The Urban Lounge has been a fixture of Salt Lake City’s live music scene since 1999. Originally established as a haven for local independent music, it has grown to host both emerging and established national touring acts across various genres including indie rock, electronic, and alternative. The venue is known for its intimate setting – holding approximately 350 people – and its focus on fostering a connection between artists and audiences. It maintains a reputation for supporting diverse musical expression within the city's cultural landscape and has consistently been recognized as a key contributor to Salt Lake City's nightlife. The venue underwent renovations in 2018 improving sound & lighting capabilities.
