Kulturraffinerie K714 is a cultural center housed within a former sugar refinery (“Raffinerie” translates to refinery) in Monheim am Rhein. Established in 2003, the venue was created through the renovation of the historic industrial building, preserving much of its original architecture while adapting it for artistic purposes. K714 hosts a diverse program including concerts spanning various genres – jazz, classical, world music – alongside exhibitions, theatre performances, workshops and literary events.
