Kulturraffinerie K714 is a cultural center housed within a former sugar refinery ("Raffinerie" translates to refinery) in Monheim am Rhein. Established in 1998, the venue was created through the conversion of industrial buildings, preserving much of the original architecture while adapting spaces for artistic use. It functions as a multi-disciplinary arts space hosting concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions, workshops and other cultural events. The building’s industrial past is visibly integrated into its aesthetic and contributes to its unique atmosphere. K714 aims to offer a diverse program catering to a wide range of artistic interests within the region and beyond.
