The Berlin Philharmonic will perform at the Großes Festspielhaus in Salzburg, Austria on August 23, 2026. The hall’s acoustics are highly regarded, specifically designed for operatic and orchestral performances. Its architecture blends modern elements with references to Salzburg’s Baroque heritage. The hall seats approximately 2,180 people and is known for its horseshoe-shaped auditorium offering excellent sightlines. It has become synonymous with high-caliber musical events and remains a central cultural landmark within Salzburg.
