The SFJAZZ Center, which opened in 2013, is a leading jazz performance venue and center for jazz education. Located in the Hayes Valley neighborhood of San Francisco, it was designed by Mark Cavagnero Associates to provide optimal acoustics and an intimate concert experience. The center houses the Robert N. Miner Auditorium, seating approximately 350 people, alongside rehearsal spaces, offices, and educational facilities. SFJAZZ itself is a non-profit organization founded in 1972 dedicated to advancing the art form of jazz through performances, education programs and artist support.
