Experience Ben Draper live on July 9th

Ben Draper will perform at the Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall in London on July 9, 2026. Draper is a British composer and pianist known for music that often blends contemporary classical techniques with elements of jazz harmony and improvisation. His compositions frequently explore textural soundscapes and utilize extended piano techniques, resulting in a style described as both intricate and emotionally resonant. He has received commissions from various ensembles and institutions, establishing a growing reputation within the new music scene.

The Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall is located within the Royal College of Music in South Kensington. Originally built in 1903 as the college’s Great Hall, it underwent a significant refurbishment and was reopened in 2020 following a donation from the Fleming family – Amaryllis Fleming being a distinguished former student of the RCM and a renowned cellist. The hall is specifically designed for chamber music and solo recitals, boasting excellent acoustics optimized for unamplified performance. Its capacity is approximately 300 seats. The hall’s design incorporates features intended to enhance both performer visibility and audience intimacy, making it a favoured venue for emerging and established musicians alike.
