Aspyrian live in Saffron Walden

Aspyrian will be performing at Saffron Hall in Saffron Walden, United Kingdom on September 18, 2026. Aspyrian creates music generally categorized as neoclassical darkwave, blending elements of classical composition with electronic and gothic influences. Their sound often features dramatic orchestral arrangements alongside synthesizers and atmospheric textures, frequently exploring themes of mythology, history, and the occult. The project is led by composer and producer Alexey Vorontsov.

Saffron Hall is a relatively new concert venue, opening in 2014 as part of the wider Saffron Walden County High School campus. It was designed by Cottrell & Vermeulen Architecture and has been praised for its acoustics and architectural merit, winning a RIBA award in 2015. The hall serves both as a performance space for the school and as a public venue hosting a diverse range of musical performances, including classical concerts, jazz, folk music and contemporary acts. Its capacity is approximately 740 seats. The hall aims to provide high-quality cultural experiences for the local community and beyond while also supporting emerging musical talent. It’s equipped with a Steinway concert grand piano and professional-grade lighting and sound systems.
