Experience Ariel Quartet live on October 24th

The Ariel Quartet is scheduled to perform at Villa Löw-Beer in Brno, Czechia on October 24, 2026. The quartet is internationally recognized for its deeply expressive and intensely focused interpretations of chamber music, particularly within the Viennese classical tradition – Haydn, Mozart, Schubert – but also encompassing works from Beethoven to contemporary composers. Their performances are noted for their tonal beauty, rhythmic precision, and emotional depth.

Villa Löw-Beer holds significant historical and cultural importance to Brno. Completed in 1931 for the Jewish industrialist Alfred Löw-Beer and his wife Gertrude, the villa represents a prime example of functionalist architecture designed by Ernst Wiesner. The family was forced to flee Czechoslovakia during World War II following the Nazi occupation; their property was confiscated. After the war, the building served various purposes including as a children’s home and later as a music school.

Currently administered by the Moravian Gallery in Brno, Villa Löw-Beer has undergone extensive restoration efforts to preserve its original architectural features and furnishings.
