Reduta is a historic concert hall in Brno, originally constructed as a military bastion as part of the city’s fortifications in the 17th century. Transformed into a concert venue in 1961 following extensive reconstruction after damage during World War II, it quickly became renowned for its exceptional acoustics. The hall’s unique octagonal shape contributes to its sound quality and intimate atmosphere. Throughout its history, Reduta has hosted numerous prominent classical musicians and continues to serve as an important cultural center for the city and the Czech Republic. It is managed by the Brno Philharmonic orchestra.
