Arc Iris is scheduled to perform at Higher Ground Ballroom in South Burlington, Vermont on October 9, 2026. The band’s musical style blends elements of indie folk, chamber pop, and art rock, often featuring intricate arrangements incorporating strings, woodwinds, and unconventional percussion alongside traditional rock instrumentation. Formed in Providence, Rhode Island, Arc Iris initially gained recognition as the project of multi-instrumentalist Zach Condon following the dissolution of his previous band, Beirut. While retaining some of Condon’s signature melodic sensibilities, Arc Iris developed a distinct sound characterized by vocalist Brittney Howard's powerful vocals and a broader range of lyrical themes.

Higher Ground Ballroom is a prominent music venue in northern Vermont. Originally established in 1998 as a smaller club space, it relocated to its current South Burlington location in 2008. The venue is known for hosting both nationally touring acts and regional artists across various genres including rock, indie, electronic, and jam bands. It features a main ballroom space with a capacity of approximately 650 people and an outdoor stage utilized during warmer months. Higher Ground has become a significant contributor to the local music scene and regularly appears on national tour schedules.
