Anika will be performing at 3S Artspace in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on September 26, 2026. Anika’s music is often described as a blend of post-punk, dub, and electronic influences, characterized by its atmospheric soundscapes and her distinctive, often spoken-word vocal delivery. Originally gaining recognition as the vocalist for the German band Asparagus, she later embarked on a solo career releasing albums like *Anika* (2010) and *Shadows* (2013), exploring themes of urban alienation and modern life. Her work frequently incorporates elements of reggae and trip-hop alongside minimalist instrumentation.

3S Artspace is a multi-disciplinary arts organization located in Portsmouth’s historic West End. Established in 2011, it functions as a gallery, performance venue, and maker space. The space was originally a commercial warehouse before being renovated to accommodate artistic endeavors. 3S Artspace focuses on presenting contemporary art exhibitions alongside live music performances spanning diverse genres – including indie rock, experimental electronic music, and jazz – aiming to support both emerging and established artists within the Seacoast region and beyond.
