Alkaline Trio is an American rock band originating from Chicago, Illinois, known for their distinctive blend of melodic hardcore, pop-punk, and emo influences. Formed in 1998, the band’s sound is characterized by dark lyrical themes, often exploring subjects of death, despair, and relationships, delivered with a raw energy and catchy vocal harmonies. They frequently incorporate elements of folk and country into their arrangements alongside driving guitar work. Throughout their career, Alkaline Trio has released eight studio albums and consistently toured extensively.

The Fillmore Philadelphia is a historic music venue located at 29 East Allen Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Originally opening in 1926 as the Metropolitan Opera House, it underwent several transformations before being renovated and reopened as The Fillmore Philadelphia in 2007 under Live Nation ownership. The venue maintains much of its original architectural detail including ornate ceilings and detailed plasterwork. It's known for its relatively intimate capacity of approximately 2,600 standing or 1,500 seated attendees offering good sightlines throughout the hall.
