Throughout its history, the venue has hosted a diverse range of events including theatrical performances, lectures, and musical concerts. In more recent decades it became a prominent concert venue known for its excellent acoustics and relatively intimate setting compared to larger arenas. The building underwent significant renovations in the early 2000s to modernize facilities while preserving its historic character. It currently operates as a fully-functioning concert hall hosting nationally and internationally touring acts.
