Experience Alessio Cazzetta live on May 14th
Alessio Cazzetta, an Italian composer and multi-instrumentalist, will perform at the Loch in Wuppertal, Germany on May 14, 2027. Cazzetta’s music is generally described as ambient electronic, often incorporating elements of neoclassical composition, field recordings, and minimalist soundscapes. His work frequently explores themes of memory, nature, and the interplay between organic and synthetic sounds. He has released several albums on independent labels and gained recognition for his immersive live performances.
The Loch is a former swimming pool complex located in the Barmen district of Wuppertal. Originally constructed in 1908-1909 as a public bathhouse designed by city architect Wilhelm Seiffarth, it fell into disuse following damage during World War II and was later repurposed. Since the early 2000s, the Loch has been a significant venue for alternative culture and independent music events within Wuppertal. The space retains much of its original architectural character including tiled walls and high ceilings creating a unique acoustic environment. It functions as a multi-purpose event space hosting concerts, exhibitions and performances with a focus on experimental art forms.
