Quasi is an American indie rock duo formed in 1993 in Olympia, Washington, consisting of multi-instrumentalists Sam Coomes and Janet Weiss. The group emerged from the fertile Pacific Northwest music scene, with both members contributing to various projects within the Riot Grrrl and lo-fi movements. Their musical style is characterized by a blend of power pop, garage rock, and experimental arrangements, often featuring distorted vocals and driving percussion.

Throughout their career, Quasi has released numerous studio albums on labels such as K Records andYep Roc Records. They are recognized for their tight songwriting and the interplay between Coomes' keyboard-driven melodies and Weiss's precise drumming.
