Alexis Taylor is a British singer, songwriter, and DJ, best known as the frontman and primary vocalist of post-punk band Hot Chip. Born in 1975, Taylor initially studied law before dedicating himself to music. Hot Chip gained prominence in the early 2000s with a blend of electronic, indie pop, and dance music, releasing critically acclaimed albums like *The Warning* (2006) and *In Our Heads* (2012).

Alongside his work with Hot Chip, Taylor has maintained a successful solo career since 2008. His solo output diverges stylistically, exploring more experimental electronic textures and introspective lyrical themes.
