Experience Discovery Zone
Discovery Zone is the electronic music project of American producer and DJ, Bryce Gilreath, based in Los Angeles. Emerging in the mid-2010s, he initially gained recognition through self-released tracks on SoundCloud, quickly building a following for his distinctive blend of vaporwave, future funk, and sample-based production.
His style is characterized by heavily processed samples – often drawing from 80s and 90s commercial jingles, children’s television themes (hence the name referencing the indoor playground chain), and smooth jazz – layered with lo-fi textures and driving beats. This creates a nostalgic yet undeniably modern sound.
Discovery Zone's breakthrough came with the 2017 EP *TV Dreams*, followed by the critically acclaimed album *Industry*, released on 100% Electronica in 2018. He’s since released further EPs and singles, including collaborations with artists like Strawberry Station. He’s toured extensively across North America and Europe, performing at festivals like Moogfest and FORM Arcosanti.
