Youngblood Brass Band, a seven-piece ensemble originating from Madison, Wisconsin, will perform at La Rayonne in Villeurbanne, France on October 19, 2026. La Rayonne is a cultural venue located in Villeurbanne, a commune in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France, situated just outside Lyon. Originally constructed as a silk factory in the 1930s – hence the name “Rayonne” referencing rayon fabric – it underwent significant renovation and was repurposed as a performance space in 2014. The venue is recognized for its industrial aesthetic retaining many original architectural features of the former factory. It hosts a diverse program encompassing contemporary music (rock, jazz, electronic), dance, theatre and visual arts. La Rayonne is managed by the city of Villeurbanne and aims to support emerging artists alongside established names.
