Yellowjackets is a self-described “modern jazz” group, though their music incorporates elements of fusion, rock, and funk. Formed in 1977, the band is known for its instrumental compositions, complex harmonies, and virtuosic improvisation. Throughout their career, Yellowjackets have consistently evolved their sound while maintaining a recognizable identity built around strong melodic content and rhythmic interplay. The group has received seventeen Grammy nominations, winning one in 1982. Current members include William Chatman, Russell Ferrans, Jimmy Haslip and Marcus Baylor.

Cain Park – Evans Amphitheater is an outdoor performance venue located in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Originally developed as part of the city’s park system in the 1930s, the amphitheater underwent significant renovations in the early 2000s to improve acoustics and accessibility. The venue is named for Robert Cain, a former mayor of Cleveland Heights who championed the park's development. It’s known for its natural setting within a wooded area and its intimate atmosphere despite holding approximately 1,500 seats. The amphitheater hosts a diverse range of performances throughout the summer season including concerts, theatrical productions and dance events.
