Yannick Nézet-Séguin will conduct a concert at Place des Arts in Montreal, Canada on December 19, 2026. Nézet-Séguin is renowned for his dynamic and insightful interpretations across a broad repertoire, encompassing orchestral standards, opera, and contemporary works. Place des Arts is Montreal’s premier performing arts complex, opening in 1967 to coincide with Expo 67. It comprises a collection of performance spaces including Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier (a large concert hall known for its acoustics), Théâtre Maisonneuve (a proscenium theatre), Cinéma Impérial (a cinema), and several smaller venues dedicated to theatre and dance. The complex was designed by architect Raymond Affleck and has undergone several expansions and renovations since its initial construction to accommodate a growing range of artistic disciplines.
