Withstand the Sands, a band originating from Boise, Idaho, performs a blend of desert-rock and post-metal. Their sound incorporates elements of stoner rock’s heavy riffs with expansive, atmospheric soundscapes and often features extended instrumental passages. The group has been actively performing in the Pacific Northwest since 2018, releasing a self-titled EP in 2020 and a full-length album, *Ephemeral*, in 2023. They are known for their dynamic live shows and incorporation of psychedelic influences.

The Shrine Social Club is a performance venue located in downtown Boise, situated within a historic building originally constructed as a fraternal lodge for the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks in 1911. The building underwent renovations to become a music venue in 2017, retaining many of its original architectural features including ornate woodwork and stained glass. The space focuses on showcasing regional and touring acts across various genres, with an emphasis on indie rock, alternative, and experimental music. It is known for its intimate setting and focus on fostering a community atmosphere for both performers and attendees. The venue has a capacity of approximately 300 people.
