WITCH, the Zambian rock band originally active in the 1970s and recently experiencing a revival, is scheduled to perform at SLO Brew Rock in San Luis Obispo County, California on August 26, 2026. The band’s music blends elements of psychedelic rock, funk, and African rhythms, often featuring melodic guitar work and vocals in both English and Lozi. Originally formed in Zambia as the brainchild of guitarist Jagari Chanda, WITCH (We Intend To Create Havoc) gained regional popularity before largely disappearing from the international music scene until their rediscovery in the 21st century. They have since released new material and toured internationally to growing acclaim.

SLO Brew Rock is a prominent live music venue located in San Luis Obispo. It operates as part of the larger SLO Brew company which includes a craft brewery and a smaller performance space, SLO Brew DistricT. The Rock venue itself is housed within the historic Sunset Drive-In property, retaining some of the drive-in's original architectural features while offering a modern concert experience with both indoor and outdoor staging options.
