WITCH will be performing at the 100 Club in London, United Kingdom on August 5th, 2026. WITCH, an acronym for We Intend To Create Havoc, is a Zambian rock band formed in the late 1970s. Their music blends elements of psychedelic rock, funk, and African rhythms, often referred to as “Zamrock.” The band gained significant popularity in Zambia during its initial run and experienced a revival in the 2000s with renewed international interest in their recordings. They continue to tour and release new material, maintaining a distinctive sound rooted in their original era while incorporating contemporary influences.

The 100 Club, located on Oxford Street in London, holds a significant place in music history. Established in 1942 as a jazz club by George Atkinson, it quickly became a pivotal venue for early British rock and roll and rhythm and blues. In 1964, it hosted the first UK performance by The Rolling Stones. Throughout the decades, it has showcased numerous influential artists across various genres including punk (hosting the first UK punk festival in 1976), new wave, and heavy metal.
