Wet Leg will be performing at C, in Nice, France on July 15th, 2026. The band, formed in 2019 and originating from the Isle of Wight, England, is known for their distinctive indie rock sound. Their music blends post-punk influences with deadpan lyricism and a deliberately lo-fi aesthetic. Often characterized by witty observations on mundane life and anxieties, Wet Leg’s songs frequently employ dry humor and unconventional song structures. They gained significant recognition with their viral single “Chaise Longue” in late 2021 and subsequently released their self-titled debut album in April 2022 to critical acclaim.

C, located at 34 Quai des États-Unis, Nice, is a prominent cultural venue situated on the Promenade des Anglais. Originally constructed in the 1930s as a casino municipal, it underwent extensive renovations and reopened in 2021 following a €30 million refurbishment. The building now functions as a multi-purpose space hosting concerts, exhibitions, and various events. Its architecture reflects its Art Deco origins while incorporating modern design elements.
