The group’s musical style blends elements of contemporary jazz, neo-soul, and improvisational electronic music, often incorporating spoken word and field recordings into their compositions. They are known for complex arrangements and a focus on textural soundscapes exploring themes of nature and urban life. Water Seed initially gained recognition through independent releases and performances in smaller venues before touring internationally following the release of their critically acclaimed album, *Ephemeral Bloom*, in 2023.
