Vince Giordano & The Nighthawks will perform at Birdland Marina in New York City on July 14, 2026. The ensemble specializes in meticulously recreating the sounds of American popular music from the 1920s through the 1940s, often described as hot jazz, early swing, and pre-rock ‘n’ roll. Their repertoire draws heavily from film scores, Broadway productions, and recordings of prominent bandleaders like Duke Ellington, Fletcher Henderson, and Paul Whiteman. Giordano himself is a renowned multi-instrumentalist proficient in a wide array of vintage instruments including tuba, trombone, and string bass.

Birdland Marina is a relatively recent addition to the legacy of the famed Birdland jazz club. The original Birdland, operating from 1949 to 1965 at 315 West 44th Street, was a landmark venue hosting nearly every major jazz artist of the era. While not a direct continuation of that location, Birdland Marina – opened in 2018 – aims to evoke its spirit with live jazz performances.
